Thanks for peeking in…we’re always adding new workshops and events so do check back. A Photo Gallery is on the way…as beautiful as the images are, you really need to come in person to see the beauty of this place.

Please be sure to call or email to arrange a visit ahead, so we can be available for you, as the farm is not open to the public every day, and the farm market store is seasonal. We will be posting Farm Tour dates for 2010 once confirmed.

The property is a remarkable 100 acres nestled in it’s own secluded valley in the rolling Northumberland Hills, just 1.5 hrs from Toronto, 1/2 hr north of Cobourg and 1/2 hr east of Peterborough. Diverse habitats on the land vary from wildflower meadows, hilly pastures, hardwood and cedar forests, to marshland, meandering creek and spring-fed ponds. There are many peaceful places to explore with benches, hammocks and hilltops along the way. We tend an organic heirloom vegetable garden for our HarvestShare holders, raise Shropshire sheep, Jersey Giant chickens, Tamworth pigs, Australian Cattle Dogs, have begun a fruit orchard, praise nature, feast well, respect and protect wildlife, labour long, try to remember what is important, and are thankful for all of it. ‘Tis good earth at Wholearth.
